The „Desert Butterfly Resort“ is intended as an artificial oasis which can be situated in every desert landscape that leaves the nature as untouched as possible. Lived-in sculpture based predominantly on air, which seams to be lost in an endless sand ocean. This type of architecture provides a new interpretation of the old human assimilation into the desert.

Continue readingThe Urban Skyfarm is a vertical farm design proposal for a site located in downtown Seoul, which mainly hosts local food production and distribution while at the same time improves the environmental quality through water, air filtration and renewable energy production. By lifting the food production field higher up in the air, the vegetation gain more exposure toward natural sunlight and fresh air while the bottom portion becomes more freed up providing nicely shaded open spaces for public activities. The Urban Skyfarm performs as a living machine bringing balance back to the local eco system.
